Preventing Injuries Seminar, 6 June 2025

Nicole Hawken, from Goldie's Animal Rehab Co. right here in Kemptville will be coming to the Paws4Fun fields to lead a short interactive seminar on preventing and identifying injuries in our agility dogs. Nicole is a Registered Physiotherapist working as an Animal Rehabilitation Therapist. In her physiotherapy-inspired practice she assess injuries and conditions that affect a pet's ability to move or function independently, helping our four-legged family members live their best life. This casual session will include interactive components with your dog(s) as well as information out and Q/As. Some topics expected to be covered include, common injuries, exercises, stretches and other best practices to prevent injuries in your agility dog, identifying injuries, and when to seek care. Let's start the outdoor season learning some new tips and tricks for keeping our canine team members healthy and safe!
