"Try CKC Agility" Fun Match, morning of 1 July 2026

Ever wonder whether you and your dog would enjoy CKC agility? Interesting in learning about the differences between CKC and AAC agility? Want to try some CKC courses without having to register your dog with the CKC and pay full trail prices? Then this fun match is for you.

The Fun Match will be run like a trial. Courses for the 3 main CKC agility classes at the Novice level (equivalent of AAC Starters) will be be set up. Your entry covers all 3 courses, no partial entries.

• Novice Standard Agility in Ring 2

• Novice Jumpers With Weaves in Ring 3

• Novice Points and Distance (PAD) in Ring 1

There will be a running order, everyone will walk and run one event in one ring, move to another ring and do it again, then move to the third ring and do it again. Runs will be timed and judged, your scribe sheets will be available for you to see how you did.

Before running the classes, there will be a little tutorial on CKC agility, rules and course types and how they differ from AAC classes.

The goal is to finish the Fun Match no later than 1pm, so that we all can get home for those July first celebrations. To that end, entry is limited to 30 dogs. Registration is open to Paws4Fun members until end of day 3-June, then open to everyone. Registration closes 24-June. 

Note that this Fun Match is open only to dogs 18 months of age or older.
